Stephen Colbert explains free speech as merely as doable for Twitter CEO Elon Musk

Late Present host Stephen Colbert has poked enjoyable at Elon Musk in his Thursdau evening monologue, ragging on his spectacular mishandling of Twitter, surprisingly poor understanding of enterprise, and foul bachelor bedside desk loaded with caffeine-free weight loss program Coke and weapons.

Musk not too long ago mused whether or not Apple “hate[s] free speech” after the corporate reportedly suspended nearly all of its promoting on Twitter. (It was removed from the one advertiser to take action.) Although he and Apple CEO Tim Prepare dinner have since patched up their relationship, Musk’s insinuation nonetheless speaks volumes about his failure to understand each free speech and enterprise.

“Elon, Elon, Elon,” tutted Colbert. “Free speech means the federal government cannot inform you what to say. It does not imply individuals have to present you cash it doesn’t matter what you say. I do know you are mad at them, however they do not hate free speech. They’re mad at you since you freed hate speech.”
