In a briefing on Tuesday afternoon, Governor Gavin Newsom instructed Californians to arrange for extra rain.

“We’re not out of the woods,” Newsom instructed reporters. “We count on these storms to proceed till at the very least the 18th. We count on, at minimal, three extra of those atmospheric rivers in numerous shapes and kinds. The magnitude of this isn’t remoted.”
